Sunday, September 5
Registration for Fall Classes Begins Resumes Sunday Sept. 5
You are invited to register for our fall classes. In order to honor our 65th Anniversary Celebration the Education Ministry has put registration on hold for today. Next Sunday September 5th, after first and second services the Education Ministry will be available to you in the courtyard. Please stop by the Education Ministry Table for information and registration for the following certificated classes: Foundation, Power or Your Word, Prosperity Plus and Practitioner I Studies. Flyers, registration forms, information and a welcoming person to assist you with any questions and/or inquiries. We are excited to present this roster of classes to you and to welcome each of us on our individual and collective journeys.

April Silas returns! We were blessed, moved, and refreshed by April’s dynamic message a few weeks ago. Once again this is your opportunity to be in the presence of this Joyous Heart, beaming in recognition of the One Mind. April’s topic for the evening is “The Joy Of Oneness.” You will also be greeted with glorious Hawaiian music by Karen Smith and Deb Santa Maria and our Host, Sunshine Michelle Coleman!

Joy! Choir’s Ten-Year Anniversary Concert
The 2010 Joy! Choir Ten-Year Anniversary Concert is coming up on November 19 & 20! There are many opportunities to be a part of this — whether you’re tone deaf, or practicing to be a diva ... you can join the teams that will be creating this event! Be a part of this exciting process! Bring your special gifts ... especially your love of music and fun to the Joy! Choir and OCSL. To volunteer, please email Jescie France.

• MONTHLY PRAYER: Every month, we at OCSL are in prayer for one of our sister communities & also for one country in the world. This month we dedicate our prayer to: Center for Spiritual Living, Kansas City, MO, Rev. Chris Michaels CSL and the country of Pakistan.

• HIKING/WALKING GROUP is taking shape here at OCSL and meets each Sunday in the OCSL courtyard at 1:30pm, ready to go. We start with an easy walk, and then we see what folks prefer re degree of difficulty for our future walks. For more information please contact Joann Kumik - jkumik@juno.com.

• Invitation from our Announcement Team: You are invited to step into service & shine your light from the pulpit. We are expanding our team & would love to include anyone who has experience with public speaking, performance, or is comfortable speaking in front of groups. Many of our team members are already in service in different ways in our community, & each has a unique style we bring to our weekly announcements, much like each of us, the divine expression of Spirit. We will meet after 2nd service on Sun. Sept. 12th in the sanctuary. We ask that you commit to at least one Sunday (both services) every other month.
