The Virtual Wednesday Oasis returns in January, offering a monthly rhythm of reflection, justice, and visioning.

On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, we’ll gather to discuss the Daily Reader.

The 2nd Wednesday will focus on a joint Social Justice and Sacred Activism meeting between Oakland CSL, East Bay, and Heart and Soul.

The 4th and 5th Wednesdays will be dedicated to visioning together.

A 10 week virtual adventure with Ernest Holmes. Truly a Modern Mystic, we will explore his studies, writings, and the understandings he left in order to inform our own spirituality and know better our own inner mystic.

This class is co-sponsored by Oakland CSL and Rio Grande CSL and will be co-facilitated by Rev. Dr. Sunshine Michelle Coleman, Senior Minister of OCSL and Rev Gil William Olmstead, Spiritual Director of RGCSL.

12 In-Person Sessions the first session on Sunday January 11, 1-5pm is extended.

The remaining sessions are biweekly starting on Sunday, January 25 from 1-3pm.

The follopwing sessions are on, February 8, February 22, March 8, March 22, April 12, April 26, May 17, June 14, and June 28.

This month’s Diversity Circle will meet one week later than usual, on January 30 at 7:00 pm via Zoom. The topic is The Divine Feminine in the Roman Catholic Tradition. As our world faces growing imbalance and division, the wisdom of the Divine Feminine offers guidance rooted in compassion, love, and unity. Please join the Diversity Circle as Rev. Dr. Victoria Rue explores this rich tradition and its relevance for personal and collective transformation. More details and the Zoom link will be posted on oaklandcsl.org/events. 

Join us for the 2026 Vision Board Party on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at Oakland Center for Spiritual Living. This in-person gathering, limited to 40 participants, offers a creative and intentional space to clarify your vision for the year ahead. Facilitated by Deborah Jackson, the experience includes all materials and food, with a cost of $50. Register  at oaklandcsl.org/events.
