Social Justice Ministry
Join our Social Justice Ministry on the first Sunday of every month after service, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the Social Hall. We engage in sacred activism to help create a world that works for everyone and to nurture a center that is intentionally inclusive of all.
DESCRIPTION:
Did you know there’s a word for the hatred of, aversion to, or prejudice against women? The word is: misogyny. It can be subtle, overt, normalized, or disguised as humor. It comes in many forms. Although March is Women’s History Month, misogyny continues and occurs in our current contexts be it personal, political, social, economic and global – to name a few. Come prepared with examples from your various contexts.

Women's Spiritual Empowerment Group

Virtual Social Hall
Our Virtual Social Hall happens on the third Sunday of each month, on Zoom, for 30 minutes or so, immediately after the service. This is a chance for OSCL to nurture and honor its online community. And it’s a chance for our online participants to meet and mingle, to share thoughts and stories, to get to know each other or re-connect with old friends, and to have a greater experience of community and connection. The Chair Dedication Campaign continues!
