Join us for another Cross Community Collective Action Meeting on Wednesday, June 10, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with East Bay Church’s Sacred Activism and Heart & Soul Center for Lights’ Imaging Justice ministries to build capacity for change. Sustainable social movements require not only a vision for justice, but also the skills to stay connected through disagreement, conflict, and difficult conversations. Learn to deepen empathy, strengthen relationships, and support more resilient and effective collaborations. No prior experience with NVC is required. Presented by Lily Huang.

On June 19, 20, and 21 we will have an abundant Rummage Sale! Donations are now being received beginning this Sunday  until the sale. Tricia Gregoire will collect them after service until 1:30 pm. Donations will also be accepted on June 15, 16, or 17 between 10 am – 3 pm. Please, no donations past the 17th and no old TVs. Loaned clothing racks are greatly appreciated. We also need volunteers before, during, and after the event. Affirmative prayer is a major spiritual practice at Oakland Center for Spiritual Living. Everyone can learn to pray affirmatively.  Trained Licensed Prayer Practitioners choose to make affirmative prayer their mission. Our ongoing coin drive is Abundance in Action. It demonstrates that we are Open at the Top. We affirm that “My giving blesses the world. I allow abundance to flow freely. I joyfully give and receive.
