Facility Usage for Parties

Planning a party can be a lot of fun! Putting together the decorations, guest list, theme and more is an exciting process for many people, and impressing the guests of honor is always rewarding. If you are planning to host a party in the East Bay, it’s important to select the ideal venue. Luckily, the Oakland Center for Spiritual Living offers a perfect solution and we would love to help host your party at our facility.

We are a group of diverse, welcoming people who strive to grow together and make a positive impact in our community. In addition to offering regular services that are always open to the public, we also have many forward facing events like concerts and festivals. Since this is the case, our facility is multi-functional and we have hosted many events over the years.

In the sections to follow, we answer a few of the most frequently asked questions we get from people who are considering using our facility for their party.

How many guests can your facility accommodate?

We have multiple spaces that can be rented for parties, so we can accommodate small intimate events or large gatherings. Our largest space is our social hall, and it has over 2,000 square feet. This space can accommodate up to 200 people depending on how you want it set up.

Is your facility easily accessible?

With Bay Area traffic, ease of access is always a valid concern. The Oakland Center for Spiritual Living is conveniently located and easily accessed by either Highway 13 or Highway 24. In addition to the convenient location, our facility also has over 100 parking spaces, meaning your guests should have plenty of space to comfortably park.

Do you offer assistance for my party?

We have an events coordinator who can help you through every step of the rental, planning, and party process. If you have audio or video components as part of your party, we also can offer experienced technicians to ensure everything goes smoothly. Any party planners also gain access to our full commercial kitchen if you are planning to serve or prepare food.

Do you have to be a member of the spiritual center?

We aim to be a welcoming group, and our facility is open to anyone in the community. While our members do get a discount when renting the facility, anyone who wants to host a party here is welcome to do so.
