Discover the spiritual power within you through the principles of Science of Mind and conscious living. This transformational class explores how our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and choices shape our experience of life. Through meditation, affirmative prayer, self-reflection, discussion, and practical spiritual tools, you will learn to recognize limiting patterns, strengthen self-awareness, respond to life with greater intention and deepen your connection with the Divine. There are no prerequisites for this class.

Explore the foundational teachings and spiritual principles of the Science of Mind philosophy. This class introduces the core concepts and spiritual practices, including the nature of God, the unity of all life, the creative power of thought, affirmative prayer (spiritual mind treatment), and the role of consciousness in our daily experience. Through discussion, reflection, meditation, and practical application, participants will develop a deeper understanding of these principles and discover how to apply them to relationships, personal growth, purpose, and everyday life. There are no perquisites for this class.

The Social Justice Ministry meeting is back the first Sunday of the month beginning October 4 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the Social Hall. Together, we engage in sacred activism to help create a world that works for everyone and to nurture a community that is intentionally inclusive of all.

We are currently looking for volunteers in several areas at OCSL. Opportunities include helping with Coffee and Tea Service setup and cleanup in the Fellowship Hall during the next few Sundays, serving as a Bookstore Cashier on the second Sunday of each month, and joining our Announcer Team. Affirmative prayer is a major spiritual practice at Oakland Center for Spiritual Living. Everyone can learn to pray affirmatively.  Trained Licensed Prayer Practitioners choose to make affirmative prayer their mission. To find a list of all the Practitioners, Click Here.  Practitioners offer prayer to anyone at no cost.  Practitioners are also available to help you explore your beliefs and to help you align those beliefs with spiritual principle. Our ongoing coin drive is Abundance in Action. It demonstrates that we are Open at the Top. We affirm that “My giving blesses the world. I allow abundance to flow freely. I joyfully give and receive.
