The bookstore at our Center for Spiritual Living serves many purposes and is loved by participants in our services and members of the community alike. We believe in enriching the li81ves of those around us and also in daily positive reading, and the bookstore helps us accomplish these goals.
If you have not visited our services or our bookstore, before please know you are always welcome. We pride ourselves on being a diverse and welcoming group, and we are proud to have people join us from various backgrounds and walks of life.
The goal of this article is to provide some information about our bookstore, and we will do so by sharing a few reasons why our regular visitors love coming to see us. Wide Selection of Options
Many people love the wide variety of items we offer for sale in the bookstore. We are located in Oakland, but people from Piedmont, Berkeley, Emeryville, and the entire Bay Area love our store. While we do have many top texts from spiritual authors in our store, we also feature texts from local people and always try to promote the work of people in our area. Aside from books, the bookstore features clothing, decor, trinkets, and spiritual items. If you are in need of something to help you grow spiritually or a gift to help someone else, we are confident you can find it in our bookstore.
Knowledgeable Staff and Volunteers Provide Assistance
Part of the reason we have so many unique items is because we have a staff member who is dedicated to managing the bookstore and keeping it well-accommodated. Our team loves to help people find exactly what they are looking for, and if you visit us you will find well-trained and helpful workers. While we do have a permanent staff member dedicated to the bookstore, members of our Center often volunteer to work in the store as well. They are a great resource and would love to help you not only find your perfect item, but learn more about our Center and the impact it can have on your spirituality.
Convenient Hours and Helpful Support
Our bookstore is open on Sundays after our service is over, which is the perfect time for participants and visitors alike to come by. We also offer support via email, so if you are looking for something specific please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly. In addition, we offer some merchandise online for sale.
