How many guests can your venue accommodate?

Our sanctuary can comfortably seat 250 people, and we have hosted many weddings in this beautiful space. Complete with a stunning stained glass backdrop, the sanctuary is the ideal space for larger weddings. We also have smaller rooms if you are seeking a more intimate ceremony, but most of our weddings are held in the sanctuary.

Is there a space for a ceremony and a reception?

In addition to the sanctuary, we also have a social hall which is ideal for hosting a reception. This large, 2,000 square foot space has everything you need to celebrate your new marriage. This space is our most popular rental option and can accommodate up to 200 people for a reception. With high ceilings and hardwood floors, you can bring your own decor and dress up the space to make it look exactly as you imagine. It also has a fully-equipped commercial kitchen that caterers appreciate.

Do you have to be a member of the spiritual center?

The Oakland Center for Spiritual Living is open to the community, and we welcome anyone to use the facility for their wedding day. While our members do get a rental discount, our prices are reasonable and we have hosted many weddings for all kinds of people. Large or small, formal or casual, we strive to meet your wedding needs and make your day special for you and your guests.

Does your facility have additional spaces we can use?

Many wedding planners think ahead and try to plan every aspect of the day, which is a great thing to do. If you’re seeking rooms where people can get dressed for the day, congregate or relax while pictures are taken, we have many smaller spaces we can reserve.
