Facility Usage for Workshops

Looking to host a workshop in the Bay Area? Whether you are sharing your knowledge of cooking, business, spirituality, or any other area of expertise, selecting the right venue plays a large role in the effectiveness of your workshop. How many people can your facility accommodate?

We have many different spaces you can rent for your workshop. For larger events, our sanctuary and social halls can hold up to 200 people. We also have smaller classroom-like spaces which are perfect for smaller groups.

Do you have to be a member to use the facility?

It’s our goal to be an open and welcoming presence in our community. While we do provide a discount to members who want to use our facility, we allow anyone to rent it for their workshops, parties, concerts, or other events.

Are there people who can assist with event planning?

Our events coordinator helps each event go off without a hitch at our facility. We have hosted many different events here over the years, and this experience helps us be the ideal partner for anyone who plans to use the facility.

Does your facility have audio/video capability?

Since we host our regular services and concerts, we have audio/video tech equipment to make your event look and sound great. This is especially helpful for workshops, as many people like to show videos or play clips to support the message they are trying to convey. We have a trained a/v staff who can help set up for your event and make sure everything looks and sounds just the way you want it to.

Are there other spaces for rental/use?

In addition to our large rooms and classroom spaces, we also have a full commercial kitchen available for rent. This space is ideal for people who will have all-day workshops, as it comfortably can handle catering and food prep needs.

Where is your facility located?

Our location is a big positive for many people who choose to have their events here. We are centrally located in Oakland and our Center can be accessed by Highway 13 or Highway 24. We also have over 100 parking spaces on-site, so getting here and getting parked is easy for almost any size event.
